What is a Classic Car?
A classic car is an historical automobile – you’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time with a classic wedding car. Ideas on what defines a classic car can vary from country to country. Commonly, classic cars are generally older cars with enough historical interest that they have become collectable and are often restored and preserved. Examples of classic cars would be Jaguars, Chevrolets, EH Holdens, Buicks, Cadillacs, and the iconic Rolls Royce.

What is a Convertible?
Also known as an open car or Roadster, a convertible is a car that can be driven either with or without a roof in place. A convertible on your sunny wedding day makes for an amazing journey and entrance. Buicks, Cadillacs, Mustangs and Chevys are all examples of cars that are known to have convertible models.

What is a Coupe?
A coupe has a very distinctive look. It is a 2-door, 4-seater car with a sloping roofline. If you like the look of a sporty coupe, you’re more than likely leaning towards a wedding vehicle such as a Mustang.

What is a Hot Rod?
When you think of a Hot Rod, you may have an image of a particular style. Generally speaking, a Hot Rod is an older-style American vehicle that has been modified with a larger engine for faster speed. As a wedding car, a Hot Rod brings all worlds together – you have a classic car, combined with the power of a muscle car, and major impact for both the eyes and ears! Some popular models of Hot Rods include Dodge Limousines, Dodge Sedans, Studebaker Limousines, Ford Tourers, Ford Sedans, Chevrolet Sedans and Tudors. There is a distinctive 20s and 30s look and feel to most Hot Rods.

What is a Limousine?
A limousine is a luxury car that is defined by the separation between the driver’s compartment and the rear passenger compartment. A limo can be either a sedan, or have a long wheel base, which is the case for a stretch limousine. Limousines come in all shapes and sizes, as well as makes and models. Chrysler 300C, Ford, Jaguar, H3 Hummer, Dodge, Studebaker, Cadillac, EH Holden, Holden Caprice, Lincoln and Daimler all have outstanding limousine models.

What is a Modern Sedan?
A modern sedan is a car that caters to up to 4 or 5 passengers, and is typicallyl a 4-door 5-seater vehicle. A modern sedan is one that has a modern profile, and is also still in production (or has been in production until fairly recently). Examples of modern sedans are Chrysler 300C sedans, Bentleys and the Holden Caprice.

What is a Muscle Car?
A muscle car is a term that came about in the 1960s. It refers to a high-powered vehicle, usually with rear-wheel drive and a V8 engine. Muscle cars are usually American model cars, an many define them as being designed for straight-line drag racing, while still being street legal. What is a Prestige Car?
Prestige Car is a term that is often interchanged with luxury cars. Either way, they refer to a car that is a status symbol as much as a vehicle. Prestige vehicles include makes such as Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Jaguar, Lexus, Bentley, Aston Martin, and Tesla. Sports cars also fall into the Prestige car category, and include supersports cars such as Porsche, Maserati, Lamborghini and Ferrari.

What is a Sedan?
A sedan is a car with a closed body and a closed boot. The boot is separated from the main part of the car, where driver and passengers sit.
What is a Specialty Vehicle?
A specialty vehicle is something that is designed to suit a particular purpose, or is a car that is different to the norm. In terms of wedding cars, a specialty vehicle includes cars such as VW Kombi Vans, Hummer Limos, London Cabs and Checker Cabs, which are modified to become luxury transport vehicles.

What is a Stretch Limousine?
A stretch limousine is a limo with a lengthened wheel base, so that it can accommodate a larger group of passengers, often up to 10 or 11. Some of the most popular stretch limo models include Chrysler 300C, Holden Statesman, Lincoln and Hummer.

What is a Vintage Car?
A vintage car is an older model car, generally manufactured before 1930 – although the term is often used more loosely nowadays to simply describe something that is older. Vintage car choices would include Dodge, Studebaker, Chevrolet, Rolls Royce, Cadillac and Hudson.
